A well designed second house built by a scandinavian architect 25 years before had been renovated to a guest house for executives of a Japanese corporation.  No walls, floor and ceilings were changed, and it was tried to keep every possible valuable elements handed down from the oroginals.  A living, a conference/dining room, a suite room, three bedrooms, a kitchen, a sauna was redesigned.  A new bar counter was added in the living area, and three different level of the seatings were added for people to enjoy different views of the space.
