病院の外来棟のエントランス
及び、代替医療フロアのスタイリング
病院は、機能性や衛生管理のしやすさを重んじるうちに、とかく、殺風景な空間になってしまっていることが多い。不安や悲しみを抱えながら訪れる患者さんの心を少しでも和らげること考え、無機質な空間にオーガニックな木のオブジェや、造花ではなく生きた植物を活ける場を設けた。
代替医療フロアでは、エレベーターを降りたときに、患者さんを「病院」に来たいう感覚へと迎えるのではなく、「くつろぎの空間」でトリートメントを受けるために訪れたという感覚へいざなえるよう、間接照明やドレーパリーの柔らかさを多用し、木のオブジェを配し、オーガニックな優しさを演出した。
If a space is surrounded only with synthetic materials, how would you feel? If too much attention on functions and easy maintainance were paid, spaces tend to loose its' sense of textures. Such cases are often seen in hospital environments. This project is a styling work to a hospital entrance, the reception, and the floor for alternatie medicin, aiming to bring in feelings of earth, nature and life to hospital environment.
